Abstract Photography: Water + Oil mix

These pics are not made using Photoshop.

To make one, you will need:

  • Water
  • Oil
  • Glass container or anything transparent
  • Anything flat and colorful (in this case, a door rug)
  • Macro lens (I used a Raynox DCR-250 macro conversion lens)
  1. Put the glass container on the rug.
  2. Pour the water and oil in the glass container. Stir a little.
  3. Shoot

Tip: Avoid places that has wind and dust unless you want tiny specks in your water+oil macro shot.

The dots here are reflections of the pop-up flash diffuser I used.
